You took a leap — and are helping us bridge a generation gap

As you may know, Offgrid Mindfulness began as an effort to create a more mindful personal environment at home by reducing our reliance (and therefore proximity) to our smartphones. You can read more of our story here.

Though not tech-related, Mindful Schools has a parallel vision. From their website:

The Mindful Schools vision is for all children to learn in schools that encourage greater awareness, focused attention, and compassionate action. These healthy and sustainable 'mindful schools' will prepare a new generation of students to lead an awake and thriving world.

Offgrid Mindfulness is a new, small business and this is our way of getting started in the process of giving back. Rather than join a larger umbrella organization (such as 1% for the Planet), we decided to go direct. This way we know exactly where our money is going.

It's an experiment; we'll see how it goes!
